The University of Calgary Debate Society (UCDS) is a vibrant community of students passionate about discussion and competitive debate. We welcome members of all experience levels to join us in improving their public speaking, critical thinking, and advocacy skills.
Our club hosts regular meetings, workshops, and participates in regional and national tournaments. Whether you're a seasoned debater or completely new to the activity, we welcome all students interested in debate and intellectual discourse.

Our mission is to foster a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment where students can engage with complex issues, develop their analytical abilities, and represent the University of Calgary at regional, national, and international debate tournaments.
